Tools I Can’t Live Without

My father was a contractor and growing up I worked with him during the summers.  Our garage and his truck were full of tools.  There seemed to be a different tool for every job.

Well, in internet marketing there are also some tools of the trade that are a must.  Here are the ones that I can’t live without.

Host Gator-They are the hosting company I use.  They have great customer service and good prices.

Aweber-There is a saying that you live and die by your list.  These guys make it really easy to set up an auto responder and keep in touch with those on your list.

Wordpress.org-I have used several other services in the past but I like Wordpress the best - hands down.  You can customize your site and do so much more than with other services.

2 Column Neoclassical Theme-I was told that I needed Thesis and I really wanted to use it.  But for me the cost was too much at the time.  My mentor recommended this theme because it was a lot like the Thesis theme.  It has worked great.

FileZilla-I did not know about this program until recently and will not live without it.  Check out the videos on You Tube about it.

CamStudio-This is a screen shot program.  I am just beginning to use it but really like it and what I can do with it.  Check it out.  It’s free.  Great for someone new.

Gmail-This is the email service I use.  Can’t do without it.

This is just the beginning.  I know that just like my Dad, my tool box will grow, and as it does I will tell you more.
